Over the weekend of July 21, 2023, PowerSchool was upgraded to version 23.3.0.2. Please share the following changes with school staff at your site.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal
- Deactivating features in the Parent/Student Access settings will now hide the corresponding Parent/Student Portal navigation icon to align with the change.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerSchool Administrator
- Parent/Student Access preferences now display the current term that a Parent/Student sees at logon.
- Special Programs link under students has been renamed to Student Programs
- Form Letters now have an Inactive Form Letters section to display forms that are no longer active.
- Gender sub-totals are back on the Enrollment Summary report. A + symbol has been added to the sub-totals to capture all non-binary students as defined on the demographic page. Click the sub-totals link to open the details page.
- School Courses has an enhanced look to preview available courses at schools.
- New columns have been added to the Final Grade/Reporting Term Setup page to display more information about each grade reporting term.
- Grade Levels can be localized in more areas of PowerSchool SIS. This new feature will allow for the alpha character of a grade level to display through out PowerSchool.
- PowerScheduler desktop build engine installers are now available in Engine Download for both macOS and Windows OS. These new installers will work on both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. Users can continue to work with the 32-bit engine, but any issues that arise with a desktop engine will be fixed in the 64-bit version. Only the 64-bit desktop version will be included with PowerSchool SIS, starting with this upgrade release.

Some users may experience a problem logging into PowerSchool today. If you are seeing a problem when logging in, please clear the cookies/cache in your browser and then close and re-open the browser before trying to login again. If you log in using a bookmark, you may need to create a new one. If you continue to see problems, or if you need additional assistance, please contact the IT Help Desk.
