Effective today, Monday, April 3, 2023, PowerSchool will begin to display the ELPAC Alternate Assessments for English Learners. The EL Module and reports have been updated to support this change. See the complete list of changes below.
- English Learner Proficiency and Programs – A new assessment type of “ALT” under the Summative and Initial ELPAC Performance Level headers has been introduced to indicate an Alternate Assessment.
- Home Language Survey Notes – The notes under a student’s Home Language Survey are now visible to users. Any questions regarding the details under notes can be directed to the Multilingual Educational Department (MED) at [email protected].
- EL Student Roster Report – This report was updated to include Alternate Assessment performance levels in the preferences and report results. To run this report, select System Reports, select the System tab, and then choose EL Student Roster Report.
- Score Reports – The score reports assessment dropdown now has an Alternate Assessment option for Admin, Teacher, and Parent/Student portals.
- SqlReports – The reports below were revised to display Alternate Assessment performance level scores.
