We are implementing an important update to two attendance code descriptions to align with revised contract rules and ensure accurate usage across all Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
Effective immediately:

C - Ind Study Credit 3 or more days will now be labeled C - Contract Completed.
This change reflects that the student has fulfilled the requirements of a contract for independent study.

P - Ind Study less than 3 days will now be labeled P - Do Not Use.
This code is being retired due to updated attendance policies. It should no longer be used.
These updates are based on revised attendance policies and contract compliance requirements. The previous descriptions were tied to outdated rules, which led to inconsistent usage. The new labels are designed to eliminate confusion and promote consistency in reporting. Note: These updates do not apply to Extended Day Schools.
