During the weekend of October 17, 2025, the IT Department will begin the setup process for the 2026-27 school year in PowerSchool. This process will articulate students to their next school based on the following criteria:
PowerSchool will remain available throughout this process. Starting October 20, 2025, the 2026-27 school year will be available for scheduling.
Action Required: Boundary Exceptions
All non-resident students must have a current boundary exception entered in PowerSchool by 4:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025. Students without a valid boundary exception on file by this deadline will be reassigned to their designated neighborhood school for the upcoming school year.

Steps to Confirm Student Data

Run the Non-Resident Students report sqlReports to identify students who do not have a boundary exception and review their demographic information to validate their address. This helps ensure boundary information is current.

Run the Missing or Invalid Demographic Data sqlReport to identify students whose address validation is outdated. Enter “Address Validation Required” in the report’s search bar to filter results, then validate their address.

Validate student addresses on the Demographics page, especially for students whose addresses have recently changed. Keeping addresses updated ensures accuracy in neighborhood school and boundary assignments.
