This message contains important information regarding the PowerSchool End-of-Year (EOY) process for the 2025–26 school year. 

The PowerSchool EOY process is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM. During this time, PowerSchool will be unavailable for up to 72 hours while student enrollments are rolled over to the 2026–27 school year. We anticipate that PowerSchool will be available again on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Please note that Summer School will not be affected by this downtime.

The EOY process will:

  • Close out student enrollments for the 2025–26 school year.

  • Transition PowerSchool to the 2026–27 school year.

  • Allow schools to continue enrolling students for the 2026–27 school year once the process is complete.

  • Enrollment resources are available under the Powerschool Handbooks, Job Aids and Videos page.

As a reminder, schools should not withdraw or drop students who are active at the end of the 2025–26 school year. If a student is not returning next year, please follow the procedures outlined in the “Not Continuing Next Year” video tutorial.

Reports and Data Access

After the EOY process is complete, some reports for prior-year terms may not work as expected. Consider saving/printing any reports you may need before June 29, 2026.

Student/Parent Portal Access

Graduating seniors and students who are not continuing in the 2026–27 school year will have their Active Directory accounts disabled, which will also end their access to the PowerSchool Student Portal. In addition, the Parent/Student Portal will be disabled beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026, to prevent early access to student schedules for the upcoming school year.

Schools may re-enable the Parent/Student Portal when they are ready. For schools that do not reopen portal access, IT will automatically re-enable the portal on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Schools may temporarily disable the portal again if necessary; however, it must be available on the first day of school.
