End of Third Grading Period

The third and final elementary grading period (E3) ends on May 28, 2026. The IT Department will begin the process of copying standard marks in PowerSchool from E2 to E3 on Friday, May 1, 2026. It is important to note that this process does not modify grades that a teacher has already entered for the upcoming reporting period. Additionally, if a student has switched classes and the course section has changed, grades will not be transferred forward. Comments from previous grading periods will not be copied by IT.

For additional information regarding this year’s elementary student progress reporting periods, please refer to the: ADMINISTRATIVE CIRCULAR NO. 54: PUPIL PROGRESS REPORTING PERIODS FOR 2025-26, dated December 19, 2024. This circular is also available in the Bulletins and Circulars section under 2024-25 Bulletins.

Expected ELPI Levels

The IT Department will also be uploading Expected ELPI Levels (XELPI) for students at both Elementary and K-8 schools. These performance levels will be available for English Learners in PowerTeacher Pro, under the XPL standard for the second progress reporting period (E3). If you have questions about the Expected English Learner Progress Indicators (XELPI), including Receptive and Expressive Language standards, please contact the Multilingual Education Department at [email protected]. More information can be found on Expected English Learner Progress Indicator (XELPI).
