Over the weekend of January 16, 2026, PowerSchool was upgraded to version 25.8.0.1. This update introduces a new navigation menu and several enhanced features designed to improve the user experience. Please share the following list of changes with staff at your site or department.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerSchool Administrator

Categorized Menu: A categorized navigation menu, that is task based, organizes pages into main and subcategories in a flyout menu.

Favorites: A new feature allows users to quickly access frequently visited pages by bookmarking them using the Favorites star icon.

Print A Report: A new icon next to the student’s name lets you easily go to the report selection page.

Quick Search: An enhanced search bar, located in the upper right corner, allows users to quickly find pages, reports, students, and staff.

Student Navigation: Users can switch between selected students easily by using navigation arrows or the dropdown menu.

Ecollect Forms: Users in all PowerSchool Portals can now export submitted forms to PDF using the Export PDF button at the top of the form page.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerTeacher Pro

Navigation features a notepad icon for the Report Queue, which now shows the number of pending reports.

Teachers can now review the Formula used in calculating traditional grades. Formulas can be previewed under the various pages of the Grading icon by selecting the Show More link.

The top and left navigation has been updated to better align with other PowerSchool products.

The following PowerSchool handbooks have been updated to include the enhanced navigation and features.
