Changes in PowerSchool version 20.11.2

Over the weekend of July 16, 2021, PowerSchool was upgraded to version 20.11.2. Please share the following changes with other school staff at your site.

Changes to PowerSchool Administrator

  • Enhance In-App Help – The in-app help for administrators, teachers, students and parents is now available from a central online location in a simple, easy-to-use format.
  • Enhanced School search -  For users with access to multiple schools or districtwide access, a simplified way for users to make selections. In addition to selecting a school from the list, users will also have the ability to filter schools by school name, number, or abbreviation to narrow down their list of schools.
  • Teacher Attendance Submission Status – The current day was not correctly displaying if multiple bell schedules exist at a school. This issue is now resolved.
  • Health - Screenings  – New enhancement to define the following: Screening Provider Type, Screening Outcome, and Lead Waiver Reason. Additional Tuberculosis Screening fields are available for Blood Test Results and Blood Test Type. Additional Vision Screening fields are available for Left Eye Test Result - With Correction, Right Eye Test Result - With Correction, Both Eyes Test Result, Both Eyes Test Result - with Correction, and Muscle Balance.
  • Health - Office Visits – New filtering options. Start Date and End Date are now available for the Office Visit Records. Additionally, two columns have been added to the Office Records Overview page: Time Out & Issue/Visit Reason
  • Class Rosters – This report has been moved in the Student Listings section of System Reports.
  • Additional New Features - IT will introduce other new features as part of this upgrade after the start of this school year.

Some users may experience a problem logging into PowerSchool today. If you are seeing a problem when logging in, please clear the cookies/cache in your browser and then close and re-open the browser before trying to login again. If you log in using a bookmark, you may need to create a new one. If you continue to see problems, or if you need additional assistance, please contact the IT Help Desk.
