In reference to Site Operations Bulletin No. 91, schools are required to enter Bell Schedules and Calendar information in PowerSchool no later than February 20, 2026. The IT Department will configure the 2026-27 calendars to include non-instructional days, mandated holidays, and district breaks.
Alignment with Master Schedules
It is critical that the Bell Schedules entered for the upcoming school year accurately reflect and align with the work being done in master schedules for 2026-27. Ensuring this alignment will help prevent scheduling conflicts and guarantee that instructional times and periods are consistent across all planning tools. Carefully coordinating these entries now will support a smooth and efficient start to the new school year.
If your school is changing the number of Periods or Cycle Days for the 2026-27 school year, you must submit a request to the IT Service Desk indicating the changes. IT will need to complete the appropriate changes before updating the Bell Schedule names or entering the Calendar for the 2026-27 school year.
Elementary schools will have two distinct periods, E and TKK. Bell schedules for both periods must be included in next year’s planning. The labels of these periods should remain unchanged and must not be not be modified.
